KAMARPUKUR RAMAKRISHNA MISSION MULTIPURPOSE HIGH SCHOOL

Kamarpukur Ramakrishna Mission Multipurpose School, the transformed version of ‘Laha Babu’s Patshala’, started its journey in full fledge in 1962 with an aim to spread Swamiji’s vision and mission of education among the common people. Since its inception, the school has been catering formal education along with man making and character building education i.e the manifestation of perfection already in man. 

The School fosters a large number of poor students with the help of Kamarpukur Ramakrishna Math and Ramkrishna Mission. The students, here, get lessons to develop their future career and emotional development for the quest of being a good man in the true sense of the term. The school management, teachers and guardians always try to make better academic results than previous years. The school imports the famous lesson of Lord Ramakrishna, “The long we live, the long we learn” and the epoch making motto of Swami Vivekananda-“To serve man is to serve God”, among the students.

The school has a well-furnished and equipped library, a computer laboratory, three science laboratories, a smart class, gymnasium room and all modern aids for teaching. The premises have a big playground which appears before the students as a garden of paradise. 

The aim of this institute is to impart all round education to the children as taught by Sri Sri Thakur, Maa, Swamiji. Man making, character building and life building education is the curriculum of this institution. Academic education, cultural activities, sports, moral ethical and spiritual values are imparted to the students.

In this connection we request all the admirers of this noble work to come forward and help to at least with the educational expenses of poor students, so that we can help students coming from poor and backward classes.

On several requests of students, guardians and local people, Mission authority decided to upgrade the school to Higher Secondary level with all modern facilities. By the grace of Sri Sri Thakur, Sri Sri Maa and Sri Sri Swamiji Maharaj this School have started its journey as a Higher Secondary School with Science and Arts courses facilities from the session of 2023.
